Install sIRF fonts using CoffeeCup Website Font software.
Installing sIRF fonts on your website can add a little spice to your pages. If you are reading this page I assume you already have the software or are trying it out. This is a new program for me and apparently fairly new for CoffeeCup. So since there is a question about this software and how it operates on the forum I figure a picture (or 12) is worth 1000 words.Open the software and click new.

Next you want to add a tag so click (1 add tag). That will automatically add an (2 H1 tag) but you can change that to anything you choose from the drop down menu at (3) I will keep the H1 for this tutorial.

Using the drop down arrow (1) choose your font. Notice when you click a font it will preview (2) at the bottom of your window.

Next you will select the font colors you want for each function you want your tag to have.
First in line is the font color ... this will display the header normally.
Next comes link color ... this defines the color if you make your header a link.
Next is hover color ... this defines what color the link changes when you hover the mouse over the link.
Last is the background color ... if you wish to match a SOLID background of your page enter that color here.
Note you have many click choices available. You can click any of the down arrows and a small window will open with a few color selections or if you click the more colors button (1) on that window a large color palette will open and you can select from that. Once your color selection is made you click the add to custom (2) color and ok (3).

When you are finished with your selections you will note each little box should show your selections in it.

It is a good idea to take a peek at what your choices look like before you save them. You do this by clicking the preview button at the top of your window and it will pop open a window with your font sample.

Its time to save your work assuming you have added all of the tags you wish to use on this page.
Click the save button (1) and another window pops open ... make sure you are saving to the folder where your documents for this operation will be housed then name your document (2) and click save button (3).

Great Programs/Products
Over the years I have tried and purchased a lot of software. The ones that stuck are listed below. It simply pays to pay. Your time is money!
Save both by using the best.
Avactis Shopping Cart
For years web designers have searched for a great cart that does not ruin the site design with every upgrade. Finally we have it! Owing a domain name is like owning your own house.
After 2 near registration disasters I LOVE:
GoDaddy
Coffee Cup
I always recommend people learn CSS and HTML first before using an editor.Once you have a basic knowledge of both then of course go to an editor which will plunk daily used code into place so you save hours of typing over and over.
When I started out long ago doing web design ... my first editor was HotDog ... I loved it. Then with windows XP I could no longer use it at all. So I was forced to search for something new. CoffeeCup ended up being the new and I like it very much.
PhotoShop
PhotoShop was on of the first programs I purchased when I came online. What can I say other than it is the Cadillac of software. A must have for every designer.
Need a lot of design pieces?
Try Boxed Art where you will find a lot of templates, sounds, logos and a lot more all for an inexpensive yearly membership fee.
This site is monitored 24/7 by:
If you have your own business domain then this service is probably a must if you want to know when your customers can not access your shop>
CA Antivirus
When I came online many years ago this company put out a great FREE antivirus (innoculate). The last few years it has cost between $20 to $30 a year. I have yet to have a problem with any of my systems. EVERY system I build for myself or someone else this protection is one of the first things to be loaded.
Zone Alarm
This is another piece of software that runs on EVERY machine I have owned for the last 9 or so years. In my opinion it is the best firewall around.
