Setting up windows explorer:
Open your windows explorer by going to start....programs....accessories....windows explorer.(in XP)Or if you have not already done so create a shortcut on your Quick Launch from the directions at desktop.
A window will open that looks like this:

These tutorials will be much easier if you set your windows explorer setting the same as mine during your study sessions here.
At the top of the window click....view...a small pop up window will open and you will make sure there is a checkmark by Details

You might want to note that you can view your items in windows explorer in different ways ... say you are looking at an image folder you might want thumbnails in which you would see something like this when you open that directory in windows explorer.

This is a pretty handy way of decideing what images you might want to use in your documents as you create your web pages.
From this open windows explorer window with your thumbnails shown ... notice if you hover your mouse over one of the images it will tell you details of that image. This feature of windows explorer is very handy when you want to know the size of the image and file size as well.

Now go to tools ... folder options ... view tab....then make sure your checks are the same as the pictures below.
